YouthWorks Volunteers at the English Cave Community Garden

On Monday July 8, 2019, seven YouthWorks volunteers, two organizers and two chaperones visited the English Cave Community Garden (ECCG) with only one focus in mind — to work and work hard for two-and-a-half hours in the garden.

They were joined by Tim Beam, ECCG gardener and grass cutter pro and leader Bill Kranz, another grass cutting pro. Here is what this team looked like after the session was over.

This effort was planned to help spruce up the garden for the upcoming garden celebration event on Saturday, July 13th from 4 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. We celebrate being in Gateway Greening’s Land Trust and invite you to attend. It is potluck style but the BPNA will be providing food and drink as well. The garden’s address is 1960 Provenchere Place.
