Announcements:

Minutes from last meeting – approved no objection

Police Report:  

• Will email them out tomorrow to be incorporated into the minutes 

• Traffic incidents and street racing on Jefferson:

  • Hard for them to respond to that many calls, but they tried to send a detail to curb street racing before they get out of control

• Central Patrol Business Association

  • Fundraiser at casa Loma Ballroom 11/5

    • For central patrol 

    • 8 Tables still open

    • Also has auction items that will be online

Treasury Report:

• Treasury report will be online and transparent

Alderman Report: 

• Redistricting issue: 28 to 14 wards, approved by voters in 2012

    • Information in that link to review the map and provide comments

  • Dan: please review map because it is outside of the guidelines

• Speed humps

  • Every one hes put in have been denied for the last few years

    • Putting a bill in for more authority to the alderman so they don’t have to do that

    • Speed humps have been approved

      • Lemp 3200 and at Cherokee

      • Wyoming 1900 and 2100

      • Utah and Indiana 

      • Lynch and Salena

      • Salena at the same corner for the dog park

      • Curb bump outs at Missouri and Arsenal

• Parks:

  • Volunteers did some work at the garden in jeff and arsenal

  • 11/10 cleaning up the neighborhood

    • Volunteers needed 

  • New Chess tables under the comfort station

• Events

  • Had the Halloween trunk or treat and parade

    • Lots of kids and the STLFD came out

  • One more event is the holiday party

    • Thinking the santa parade will be the same thing this year

• Safety Committee

  • 11/11 meeting at Joel’s BP to talk about canvassing the neighborhood

• Dog Park

  • The committee is taking over from Nicole the previous president

  • Kay Parish will be representing the dog park for the board

  • Phone number issues will be for board

  • Someone is interested in putting together happy hours

• Garden

  • Tree trimming for $1500 happened

  • Cave – 

    • Former staircase from back in 1888

      • Wanting to do some exploring rfor that

      • Rolla is very involved in the project

      • Grant money may be comings

• Building review

  • Full agenda next Wednesday

  • A few zoning support letters

    • One building we’re supporting

    • Former butcher shop

      • They’re doing table-scape

  • Another business

    • Garage building along lemp

      • Someone buying it specialize in building large scale billboards, but they’re asking for a conditional use permit
